As India was the honoured guest at this year's World Government Summit in Dubai and Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted discussions with the President of the UAE, the iconic Burj Khalifa was illuminated in the national flag of India.
Prime Minister Modi and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged in extensive discussions on Tuesday. During these discussions, the two nations signed ten agreements outlining potential collaboration in critical sectors, including energy, infrastructure, and investments.

The Burj Khalifa was illuminated on Tuesday with the inscription "Guest of Honour—Republic of India" in anticipation of the keynote address delivered by Prime Minister Modi at the 2024 World Governments Summit on Wednesday.

Tuesday, to extend a "warm welcome" to Prime Minister Modi, Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum of Dubai posted two images of the Burj Khalifa illuminated in the colours of the Indian flag and the World Governments Summit logo on X.

"The Republic of India, the honoured guest at this year's World Governments Summit, and His Excellency Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, are cordially welcomed. "The robust diplomatic relations among our countries serve as an exemplar of global collaboration," the post continued.
As it continues to develop, the @WorldGovSummit has become one of the preeminent forums for showcasing initiatives and success tales in governance, as well as foreseeing the future of government.
